A collaboration platform for cross-domain synthesis

aimez is an independent research program building toward a collaboration platform for cross-domain synthesis. It unifies research and analysis infrastructure into reusable, visually editable modules and notes, so a method built for one problem carries into another with its provenance intact.

What it spans

The program works across domains that rarely share tooling, where the same instinct for measurement and structure applies even when the subject changes.

The substrate

The connecting layer is a visual research-infrastructure framework, an experimental platform that turns research capture and analysis into reusable, validated modules. Analysis steps become modules on a node graph, each one runnable on its own and composable into a pipeline, so a lab produces high-volume data ready for the models built on it with its provenance intact. Notes sit beside the modules, so the reasoning is part of the workspace and stays with the work it explains.

Three influences

The form draws on three references, each carrying a different part of the design.

• Functional architecture. The workspace is a node graph that extends visualization and analysis scripts into runnable, reusable modules, in the lineage of node-based editors like TouchDesigner.
• Collaboration and connectivity. Modules and notes live on a shared canvas that people arrange and extend together, the working middle ground a whiteboard like Miro occupies between a private script and a finished result.
• Provenance and methodology. Each module carries its own attribution and method, so when it moves between projects the record of how it was made travels with it, the discipline the Open Science Framework brings to shared research.

How it builds on current work

The platform is the direction and the current modules are the first real pieces of it. The stress-aware routing work turns camera sensing into a graph field and a routed comparison. The agent orchestration audit records a long multi-session run as a queryable log with its own provenance. The behavioral pipelines convert closed lab formats into open, validated data. Each one already runs as a module, so the platform is the place they will compose.

Where it stands

This is a program direction and a working prototype, not a finished product. The modules exist and run. The shared canvas, the connectivity and the provenance layer are still being built, so the honest claim today is the substrate and the lineage it follows, not a platform you can sign into.
